the first Green Venture Forum, a one-day event designed to bring together green business owners, entrepreneurs, investors, and advisors. On behalf of Canadian Business for Social Responsibility, Spark brought this first-of-its-kind event for BC to a sold-out audience on October 10th, 2001 at the Wall Centre in Vancouver.

"Brilliant individuals, great information. I loved
the Investors' Circle."
-- Mary
Jean O'Donnell, Footprint Environmental Assoc.
The Green Venture Forum also featured a Mock Investors' Circle
in which three business owners presented their businesses
to a panel of investors. Participants saw first-hand investor
responses to socially and environmentally innovative businesses.
Spark would like to thank all the sponsors, presenters, panellists
and participants who made the Green Venture Forum such a success
and who have brought us one step closer to a thriving green
economy.
"Great
to see Green technology people come together from both the
investor and technology side. The business owners need to
have access to the investment community and this kind of gathering
will help a lot."
-- Jim
